    The lake is at 357.30
Water Temp is in the 86

Fishing has been really good here on the south end of the lake. The massive Hydrilla beds on the main lake and in the creeks are the reason for that. I have been fishing main lake grass beds with frogs, Zara Spooks, and other top water baits. Some days you just have to see what they will react to thru out the day. No doubt morning is best. I’m fishing my top water on a LEWs 6’9” rod and reel with 20lb test BPS Mono or Seaguar Braid 50lb test.

I’ve also done well fishing plastics in the grass edges as well. Main lake and in the creeks, Look for the bait if there is plenty of shad then there will be bass there. ZOOM’s Ole monster worms with a ¼ or 1/8 Pro Tungsten weight and a weightless ZOOM Magnum Finesse and Fluke stick in green pumpkin shades. I am fishing the Ole Monster on a 7’4” Lews Rod and reel spooled with 15 to 17lb Seaguar fluorocarbon. The Fluke stick and Magnum finesse I’m fishing on a Lews Spinner rod and reel 7’ and 8lb test Fluorocarbon.

The grass is awesome this year and the fall bite will be too, I’m catching 20 to 30 a day now so I know when the water temps start to fall it’s going to be awesome.
Make sure to contact me to book your fall fishing trip, from now till December.

Ledge and Electronics Class, on the water!
Learn and get confidence by catching fish on the ledges
If you’re new to Kentucky Lake or just haven’t been able to figure out how to fish the hundreds of miles of ledges that it has to offer. Then this class is for you. Fishing the ledges is something a lot of anglers struggle with. Understanding what ledges hold fish, when they hold fish and why they hold fish is something I can teach you. I will help you eliminate 90% of the lake in a short time. See what type of areas hold fish and how to find the bait.
Get on schools of fish and get them fired up! This is some of my favorite techniques on this amazing lake. Just give me a call or email me at
