Here's hoping you had a Great Labor Day Weekend with the Family and Friends! Adam and I spent several days on the Lake last week and the fishing and catching was very good with plenty of "Fish Fry Material" for all our Customers. We continued to catch a box full of Catfish each outing and we topped off the week on Saturday cleaning over 125 fish for our two Groups of Fishermen! I did hear a couple of reports of folks catching a few White Bass and Crappie, but we chose to fish for the EASY TO CATCH Blue and Channel Catfish!



While you can catch Catfish in many locations on Richland Chambers, we're fishing in very shallow water (6'-10') in Creek Coves off the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake. Danny Kings Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook fished just off the bottom will result in a limit of 25 Catfish per fisherman most trips. The fish are what we call "Eaters" and are normally between 1lb. and 3lbs. in size.



The Cool Fronts are on the way, the water and air temps will slowly lower and the BIGGER Catfish will soon be the norm! We're also counting on a good White Bass bite starting to appear as Fall arrives! It's my FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR as a day on the Lake is about AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!!
