"GIT YO FRAWG ON!!" It's time my fellow Anglers to enjoy what a lot of you have been waiting for and will only get better from here on, "EXPLOSIONS" from a "Big-Un" when they engulf a Snag Proof Frog! Yesterday we had just that, some very nice fish just absolutely exploding on our Frogs, and the ones that missed were absolutely hillarious at how hard they hit and how much it raised the hairs on my clients skin! It was somewhat a surprise to see this kind of action going on with the Frog, especially when there were an average of 3198 boats (give or take a few, Ha Ha) runnning all over the lake. I could only have wondered how the misses would have been if there had been less traffic and less waves in the areas we were in, "WOW"! We got started for an all day trip around 9am and when it got past noon the switch turned on and the fish started aggressively feeding, or were trying to. We spent a few hours at enjoying the "Frog Explosions" and decided to go a little deeper away from all of the boat waves and this became a very good decision because of these fish not being as effected from all of the traffic on the lake. We pulled up to an area and started using 1/2 oz. Choo Choo Lures Jigs and I was showing these guys how to swim them through the deeper grass and just like I almost knew what I was doing one of the clients rod doubled over, a "Good-Un". A couple of pics and turned around to see the son's Dad rear back and set the hook. This went on for a little while longer with some nice quality fish on a Choo Choo Lures Jig in some of the deeper grass areas, which made a great ending for a great day on a busy lake. It's absolutely fantastic when a plan comes together for a great Father and Son. Get out and enjoy it while it's here, and don't forget the Guntersville Lake Snag Proof Open on Oct. 3rd., we look forward to seeing you there. Have fun, Mike Carter
