Today I had a couple of clients that wanted to learn some different ways and patterns for fishing a Snag Proof Frog. This was going to be a trip with only the Snag Proof Frog being our main lure for the day and how and what to look for when choosing an area to fish. With the rain from yesterday and more rain today I let them know that this bite could be slow today, "HEY" what the heck do I know, I'm just a guide!! The fish were turned on "wide open" in the first area we stopped. We all 3 had black Snag Proof Frogs on and all 3 of us were getting some very aggressive blow-ups. We also had numerous fish to blow up and miss, and a couple of "Big-Uns" to give us a short show before coming off. We were still able to get some nice fish in the boat, and a few good pictures. Yesterday I had a couple of clients that wanted to find a few fish to have some fun with, and with the downpour of rain it seemed we could't do anything wrong with that also. We caught fish on Snag Proof Frog, Choo Choo Lures Swim Jigs, and Echo Squarebill crankbaits. "DANG" what a couple of fun days on the "Big-G", and it's only getting better. Get out and have fun.
