LAKE GEORGE IS 1.3 FEET OVER FULL, 84 DEGREES & STAINED BY MATT BATY
Bass fishing is good. There is a shallow bite early, and the famed Eufaula summertime cranking bite on the main river ledges has been very good the past couple of weeks. The lake is at full pool, and the shore cover is loaded with baitfish. The cloudy days make the shallow bite last longer. As the day moves on, change from the top water baits to a submerged or bottom bait. Keep working slow. The ledge bite is good around any type of cover or bend if the water is moving. A good sonar will get you on some good brush or other cover. Heavy jigs are a good choice. Black blue or browns are doing well. The backs of the creeks are very muddy. You will save time if you work the outside areas of the creeks and the main river. The water color in these areas is good. We teach ON THE WATER SCHOOLS for SONAR and Rods Reels and Lures for Bass.
