Blue bird skies, no current, no wind, and the first day after a big rain storm, all of the ingredients for a "Dang" tough day on the "Big-G". I got out with a gentleman for an afternoon of just some plain ole "fishin", and a nice day by the weather standards but the fish seemed to disagree. The dead water made the fishing almost in the same catagory, but we still were able to get a few to show us a good time. One of the fish in the pics was my clients fish but since he was camera shy I held it for him. We had several more solid hits but they just would not eat so we were only able to hook up on a few on Choo Choo Lures Swimjigs. This is a great time of year to fish for both Crappie and Bass on the "Big-G", so get out and enjoy it. Have fun, Mike Carter
