What a difference a few days can make as we went from Cold, Rainy and Windy conditions to absolute perfect Fall weather with Cool, Dry, Sunshiny days!!! We were able to fish on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and enjoyed time on the Lake with long time Customers and Friends who love to fish in the Fall. They were rewarded with lots of filets for their Holiday Fish Fry!

Richland Chambers has a lot of water flowing through it, is about one foot above Pool Level, and the water is very stained to muddy depending on where you are fishing. Water temp has lowered into the high 50's and there have been very few folks fishing as the Whites, Hybrids and Crappie are tough to find and catch. So...we continue to fill the ice chest with Blue and Channel Catfish! We're fishing over "Baited Holes" near the Marina and avoiding the long boat rides up the Creeks. Fish are in water depths of 15' to 20' and we're catching all of them on Danny King's Punch Bait on a #4 treble hook. The majority of the Catfish we're catching are 1 to 3 lb. fish, but almost every trip someone hooks and/or catches a BIG BLUE in the 20 to 40 lb. range!!! You never know when that Big One is going to bite!
