WEISS LAKE IS AT 4 FEET 4 INCHES BELOW FULL POOL AND CLEAR AND 46-48 DEGREE'S

Bass fishing is Fair and the Largemouth bite has turned off. Spotted bass are being caught in Little river and the Chattooga River arms of the lake. Some good Spotted Bass are being caught in the upper Coosa River on the edges of the river channel and the log jams, in the Riverside Camp Ground area

Crappie fishing is Good and they are being caught longline trolling the river channels in 14-20 feet of water, they are also being caught on a Float and fly technique, and minnows under floats.

The New Weiss Lake Fish Habitat Enhancement Program was completed on Weiss Lake on July 29th and 30
