WEST POINT LAKE IS DOWN 5.3 FEET, STAINED & UPPER 50’S

Bass fishing is fair. Lots of runoff will affect the bass for a while. The overcast misty days have really got the fish biting a jigging spoon. Flex It spoons in silver and white are the best colors right now. Watch your Lowrance and look for the bait balls with fish arches nearby. Good places to start looking for fish are road beds, bridge columns and deep brush piles. Most of the bites are coming from mid to down lake. Up lake there is still a good Chatterbait and crank bait bite going on. As always, Yellow Jacket Creek and Half Moon Creek and great places to start.
