LAKE SINCLAIR IS FULL, 90 DEGREES, STAINED UP RIVER,

Bass fishing is very good. The top water bite showed back up as the bream started spawning again. Quality fish came on an assortment of top water baits this week including the Bass Hound crank baits Main Event prop bait made by Kip Carter. The best bite was around deep points and short pockets up the Little River. The top water bite only lasts a couple hours in the morning, and then it is time to search offshore structures and brush piles with your Lowrance electronics. Brush piles have been most consistent for catching numbers with an occasional big fish. Look for brush on the main river channel and main lake in 15 feet of water for consistency. Good baits to use on these offshore spots are deep diving shad colored crank baits and Texas rigged Zman Palmetto Bugz in green pumpkin color. If the bite gets tough, downsize to a Buckeye Spot Remover shaky head with a Zoom U tail for extra bites.
