I have been fortunate enough to make a life long past time into a livelihood. I am on the water every chance I get to try and stay keyed in on the almighty striper and to ensure limits of fish for each and everyone of my customers. However, the occasional tough days do happen, it is fishing, I give my word that I will do everything in my power to ensure that you and yours catch fish!

Striper fishing had been pretty good on the east end of the lake. With surface temps in the mid to upper 40's. The bite up here as been good and bait has been decent. Most fish have moved out to open water and staging very shallow in the 10-20 feet deep range. Downrods and planers fished shallow have been working very well for me. I'm going to take time to ask for prayers for the thousands of boat owners, weekend fisherman, houseboat owners and anyone else affected by the almost 2 feet of snow we got this weekend. I measured 23" yesterday at my house in somerset. The damage all over the lake at almost every single marina is absolutely catastrophic. It is simply sickening to see such damage. I have already spoken to several guides all over the lake who have sustained severe damage to their boats as to complete loss of boats. The damage at Lee's ford to the covered slips is horrendous as it is at jamestown, grider, burnside, beaver, alligator and even conley. Boats can be replaced. Its a tough thing to deal with especially when u make your living and support your family outta that boat but I am happy to report I haven't heard of a single person injured at any marina yet which is great. Prayers to each and every one of us that have suffered any loss in this time but keep your heads up. Good luck too all. I am in somerset every day and if their is anything I can do to help ANYONE, feel free to call. 606 872 1515
