  • I have been fortunate enough to make a life long past time into a livelihood. I am on the water every chance I get to try and stay keyed in on the almighty striper and to ensure limits of fish for each and everyone of my customers. However, the occasional tough days do happen, it is fishing, I give my word that I will do everything in my power to ensure that you and yours catch fish!

The striper bite this week has been good. Surface temps. Up here are 45-46 degrees depending on where you are and the water is slightly stained to a little murky. Normal for january on the east end and water clarity hasn't been an issue for the feeding fish what so ever. Alit of fish made a move up creek this week. They seem to be scattered loosely all up and down the larger creeks right now anywhere from the mouth to the upper 1/3rd. Open water still seems to be where most are staging and went a little deeper in the water column this week also. 25-30 foot deep has been the most productive area for me. Bait has been pretty good at the marinas also lately. Downpoles fished 25-30 feet deep in 45-50 feet of water has been the best bite for me. Keep in mind that most all marinas have started clean up and boat ramps and parking lots can be very congested right now with equipment and debris so be patient and courteous. Good luck to everyone and good fishing.
