  • Palm Beach Jupiter Inshore Report

The cool fronts have brought plenty of rain in the palm beaches, hindering boating and fishing at times for many. The sunshine is a blessing and dry moderate air would be nice with out wet conditions.

The inshore fishing for snook and tarpon has been consistent mid day the bite turns on. Live bait’s and artificial lures work great near shorelines and seawalls. The tarpon can be seen rolling on the surface be sure to stay quite and get in front of the fish for best results.

The seawalls and docks are full of sheepshead, willing to take live shrimp or fiddler crabs. The sheepshead are not really sought after that much, but not only do they taste great, they put on a great battle with light tackle. Sight fishing for these zebra looking fish can be a blast, most certainly with kids and novice anglers aboard.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week hope you all enjoyed. Remember you cant catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines! Capt. Craig Korczynski, PhlatsInshoreFishing.com, 561-644-4371
