With the weather slowly improving we should see a similar positive change in the fishing; even though the tournaments have showed good results, fishing has still been tough and spotty. Couple tough fishing with some cold nasty rainy winter weather over the past few days; the week has been tough on most who braved being out there.

I expect to see some great improvement in catches especially numbers over this next week with the improving weather and the growth toward spring. Fish hard, work those search baits until you find your honey whole, stay focused and you should see some great improvement over the coming week ahead. Look for the fish within a few hundred yards of their typical spawning grounds as we move closer to the spring.
