      Hello Capt. Johnny, My name is Leon (AKA Bullseye) and I am planning my first trip to DHL in April of 2017. I am from New Jersey but do a ton of smallmouth fishing in Maine, NH, and NY. The absolute prime time for a lot of action in shallow waters up there is early June which is post-spawn. I've heard before that April is a good time for the Bronzebacks down there. I am planning on renting a houseboat out of Sunset Marina on the east side of the lake. Can you confirm if this is a good section of the lake in April for the smallies?
