  • Weiss Lake Fishing Report - AL

WEISS LAKE IS AT 1 FEET 8 INCHES BELOW FULL POOL AND STAINED AND 50-52 DEGREE'S

Bass fishing is Fair and they are starting to get on a pre spawn pattern. Look for some good Largemouth to turn on with this warming trend coming in this weekend.

Crappie fishing is Good and they are being caught long line trolling with Jiffy jigs in colors JJ13, JJ17, JJ20, JJ24 in Little River, Little Spring Creek and the cove's at Riverside Camp Ground. Crappie are also being caught around deeper docks tight lining jigs. With the warming trend coming look for the crappie to turn on in a lot more area's of the lake.
Striper fishing is poor and they have moved up the Coosa River for their spring spawning run.

Catfish are biting good in the flats on cut bait.
