LAKE HARTWELL IS FULL, CLEAR 60’S

FLW Tour anglers are on the lake this week at Green Pond access. Come by the Expo March 19 and 20 and we can show you the new Lowrance technology at the Expo at the ramp.

Bass fishing is good. Back in the coves and creeks, the water will be a lot warmer, especially by late afternoon. Some coves are showing a really fast warm up. The bass are chasing shad and feeding on them daily. Some of the larger bass are hitting 3/8 ounce Lucky Craft Redemption spinnerbaits out in the mouth of the creeks and on the points. Finding the shad is relatively easy and the bass will be after them daily. Use the pearl Rapala Shad Raps, Rapala Scatter Raps and Spro McStick to catch the feeding fish. Plastics like a Zoom trick worms in green pumpkin on wood and docks are working as well the Rapala Glass Raps. Early morning and late afternoon are the best fishing times right now. Chug Bugs and Skitter Walks are now starting to work as some bass are showing top water activity.
