We started April with a bang and expect it to continue. We are catching trophy bass nearly every trip. The bass bite is superb during April and just gets better and better as the water gets warmer. Shiner and artificial bait are both working although if you are targeting big Bass a wild shiner is still the way to go. During April we also target Big Bluegill and Shellcracker, some days we catch Bass in the morning and panfish in the afternoon.
