WEISS LAKE IS AT 1 FEET 2 INCHES BELOW FULL POOL AND CLEAR AND 61-63 DEGREE'S
Bass fishing is GREAT and they are shallow, and moving into the spawning coves. Some fish are starting to cruise the banks.
Crappie fishing is Good and they are being caught long line trolling with Jiffy jigs in colors JJ13, JJ17, JJ20, JJ24 in Little River, Big Nose Creek,Big Spring Creek,and Church House cove, Yellow Creek is also producing some good fish, Mud Creek is also producing good. Crappie are also being caught around deeper docks tight lining jigs. With the warming trend look for the crappie to start going shallow to spawn in the next week or so.
Striper fishing is poor and they have moved up the Coosa River for their spring spawning run.
Catfish are biting good in the flats on cut bait.
