Today I was part of a corporate trip that was organized through Tim Chandler, and with the rising water from the rain the night before the fishing was a little tough. I had a couple of gemntlemen with me that were getting the opportunity to experience Lake Guntersville for the first time, and the kind of fish that can come from this lake. We were using Producer Swimbaits with 1/2 oz. heads along some deep grass areas when the first fish hit, and as the gentleman was reeling it in there were several more fish about the same size follwing it to the boat. This is the pattern that we have been waiting for, good solid fish schooling in these deep grass areas. It was only a few minutes later the same thing happened again, only this time when he got his fish to the boat there were a few more with it also, but these started busting Shad along beside the boat, extremely exciting for these guys to get to see this first hand. The action was fast and short lived, but still had a blast experiencing it with these two gentlemen. Get out and enjoy it while it's here. Have fun, Mike Carter
