LAKE RUSSELL IS FULL, CLEAR, LOW 70’S

Bass fishing is good. Two places to search this time of the year will be up in the main arteries or rivers and towards the dam. Generally these two places will show a one degree or more difference in surface temperature. Up in the rivers, the current and fresh supply of new water will keep the lower depths at 10 to 15 feet deep just right and hold plenty of oxygen for bass to live in. Now is the time to put on some fresh line and throw the deadly Carolina rig. When fishing depths of ten foot or more, use a u to tale or swim tail worm for this application. Use the June bug and red shad Zoom U tail worms on a light Shakey head and work the cover all day.
