This is a great fishing picture...and why, everyone is smiling, everyone is so very attractive, and of course everyone has a fish on their hook! I call this a Bonus Fish Catching Day at Miss Judy Charters! And what’s left to say now? I simply love my job!

I am an old school fisherman and new stuff really doesn’t appeal too much to me! However, you know the old saying, “It’s hard to teach old dog new tricks!” Well, this old school fisherman is just about to sell you on purchasing some of these electron fish attractors. But first let me tell you why…

Since I am a charter boat captain it is easy to prove a catching point quickly. So here’s exactly what I did to perform this fish catching test. With ten fishermen on board I gave five of them the electron fish attractor. And of course I did not tell anyone that I was performing a test. Fishermen having bottom rigs with attractors had more action and caught more fish. At this time I am only using them on my bottom rigs, but when I start trolling the attractor will be part of my leader set up plan. For those non-believers…you don’t have to tell anyone that you have tried the attractor. And believe me; you definitely are not going to want to share this information either. But as you know, it seems when it comes to getting the upper hand to catching fish….I just can’t seem to keep my mouth closed! So, so since I can’t keep my mouth shut you now know how to get them to open theirs up! In next week’s report I will show you my bottom rig used, maybe!

    Tbee Island Surf Report!
    Wooo Hoooo it’s time!
Brought to us by our surf fishing specialist Glenn Conway

While doing a little surf fishing at Tybee Island, Glenn caught this nice looking Spinner Shark! How to get to know you shark up close and personal! Please to go: www.marinefishesofgeorgia.org/sharks/spinner-shark.html
    Hey Judy,

Wooo Hoooo it’s time! The early spring like weather we were enjoying during late March seemed to get squashed from a series of fronts and high winds first part of April, but good news, we are in the clear now. Water temps are past 70 and favorable tides have me excited about some clean water. Let all the folks know it’s time to go surf fishing!

My last couple trips to the beach resulted in a mixed bag of fish, species including Whiting, Bluefish, pup sharks, stingrays, horseshoe crabs, Atlantic Sharpnose sharks, and an uncommon landing of a genuine Spinner shark at about three foot. Many folks would say it was just an ordinary Black tip shark, but Judy, shark identification can be challenging. As you can see from the picture this shark has the unmistakable markings of a Spinner, notice the dark color and anal fin is black. Only my second Spinner ever, a fine looking animal I say. For help with shark identification Judy, tell folks to go to this website; www.marinefishesofgeorgia.org/sharks/spinner-shark.html
Everybody who wants to do some catching its time! Glenn!

    Artificial Reefs

Captain Steve Triple Trouble and Captain Kathy Brown are doing it again!
Captain Steve aka Triple Trouble and Captain Kathy Double Trouble are showing us a two nice black sea bass, which were caught while bottom bumping at the L Buoy!

Artificial Reefs It’s Cobia Time they are here!

I suggest looking for this fish cruising on the surface and around any floating objects! Now what do I mean by floating objects? You could find this fish lurking under around any sort of flotsam jetsam! And then there are those that swim near the surface such as ocean sun fish, turtles, ray, and sharks! The bottom line is anything whether it is naturally or mechanically powered providing any sort of shade seems to be most interesting to this fish! You know the old saying, Leave no rock unturned, well in this case, check under and around anything you come across. And the best news is you don’t have to turn anything over to find this fish. The reason being once it sees your boat, in most cases the fish will swim directly to you changing the shade it is under for the one that you are providing. Why does the fish do this? Because it thinks a new feeding opportunity has arrived!

Inshore Fishing! Captain Tommy Strikes Again!

While fishing with Captain Tommy Williams of Miss Judy Charters Cindy and Anthony Mask has quite a inshore fishing day. As you can see they even lined them up to show you. However, according to this couple there would have been a lot more spotted sea trout. So I am going to say, “The somewhat 40 fish that they missed are still out there!” Cindy owns and operates The Town Square Olive Oil Shop located at 1130 Church Street Covington, Georgia 30014! http://townsquareoliveoil.com/ So, if you find yourself in the area, please by all means stop by their samples are wonderful! Did you know that ice cream is great when you pour a little strawberry balsamic vinegar over it? Ask Cindy about this….
