Well the bite has remained heavy and steady. The stripes are moving around and in several places they usually aren't in this time of year up here but with a lil patience and persistence things are really paying off. As usual in April the normal weightless and light weight lines are the best bite. 10-20 feet behind the boards is working best for me. They have made some big moves up here and moving quick. A day or two we are way up the creek then a day or two later they are out on the main. Not very usual for April up here but this has definatly been an odd spring bite for me. Most days the first 2 hours after daybreak are an insane bite and the last few days we've seen some decent top water happening also. One day their on the banks and the next they are in open water. Seems each day you just gotta figure em out all over again. Harvesting alewifes up here is next too impossible like usual. Good luck and good fishing to all.
