Bass fishing is slow. There is a lot of water flowing though the lake and too much real estate for the fish to move around in. With the past weeks full moon and with the massive amount of bait hatched out the bass can feed anywhere. Some top water action has been good early but it's about as reliable as the ledge bite. The crank bait bite has been nonexistent recently with all the bait running around. Working Texas rigs in shallow cover ranging from 5 to 10 feet is the best bet and anglers are using the dead stick method with dark the worm in the trees and grass for a minute or so they won't touch it.
