LAKE HARTWELL IS FULL, CLEAR, 80’S

Bass fishing is good but go early. After noon, the fishing slows down. As the water continues to warm, Bass will move back to deeper water and stay there for the majority of the day. The best times to fish during the hot months are early in the morning until about 10:00 a.m. and then again later in the afternoon until dark. Try some night fishing as an alternative to the summer heat. Use Carolina rigs, jigs, jerk baits and light Texas rigs and colors are green pumpkin and June bug. Docks are still a favorite place to find anglers looking for that good bite. Try the Smaller older docks this time of the year.
