BASS
This week I caughtmost of the bass I caught on Strike King Series 3 Splatter Back Crankbaits. Thecolor Splatter Back is a good color everywhere I've fished with it, in Pickwickor any other lake I've fish with it. The Series 3 Crankbait is a goodbait to start off with, as the day goes on I like to change to a deeper runningbait such as the Strike King Series 5 or 6 in the same color. I have alsocaught several fish swimming small plastics on jigs. To catch fish innumbers on the last few trips, I have put a small worm or creature bait on ajig and fished with it in patchy grassy areas. I have caught somebigger fish in 12-15' on deep diving crankbaits and carolina rigs. You cancatch plenty of fish throughout the day on the Strike King Series 3 crankbaitsalong the river banks below the dam. If you like to fish at night, nightfishing is starting to pick up.

Stripers
If you get out earlyyou can catch a few stripers on artificial baits aroundthe dam. After the first two or three hours of daylight you willmost likely have to drift live bait from the dam downstream. Late in theafternoon you can usually start catching stripers again on jerkbaits and topwater baits.

Catfish
The catfish have beenreally biting. I have caught several catfish on nightcrawlers and cutbait( from skipjack), fishing in 20' of water with a 1oz jig an 2/0hook. On all of my catfishing trips lately we acually lost count ofall the small catfish we caught and we also caught several catfish in the 5-10pound range. The biggest catfish we have caught on a guide trip over thepast two weeks has been 25 pounds on cutbait.

They have been great sellers startingat $699.99 that have a lot of the same looks and features as other guns thatcost over $1000.
