This week on Kentucky Lake the fishing has been really good. The fish and bait are on the ledges. Early in the morning I am finding the fish on top of main lake ledges. I am catching them on ZOOMs Mag Ole Monster with a red 1/2 ounce Pro Tungsten worm weight and 15 lb test Seaguar Fluorocarbon on a Lews 7’4 rod and reel. I’m looking on my Lowrance structure scan to see how the bass and bait is positioned. If I see the bait up and the bass in them I am cranking a Lucky Craft RTO 3.5XD in Aurora Citrus or Pearl Threadfin on 12lb fluorocarbon. Then as the sun comes up the bass are moving off the ledges into deeper water and I’m catching most of my fish drop shotting a ZOOM Z3 Swamp Crawler and a Z Drop on 8 lb test fluorocarbon on a Lews Drop shot rod.

This is a great time of year to take my on the water ledge and electronics class
