This morning I got out with one of my regular client/friends from Ga. to see if we could catch a few on topwater. We started out slow with a Bull Shad and Zell Pop, but ended up strong on a Choo Choo Lures Buzzbait. With a consistent chop on the water we stayed with this pattern a couple of hrs., and then decided to go swim a Kudzu Choo Choo jig on some deeper grass areas. The wind got up pretty strong which made these areas a little difficult to stay on, but we still caught a couple of fish before calling it a morning. This should be a great week with the milder temps and cloudy skies and should give us the opportunity to experiment with sevral different patterns without pouring sweat. Have fun. Mike Carter
