  • Lake Cumberland Fishing Report - August 2016

Lake Cumberland fishing for report for August 27,2016. The water temp is in the lower 80's and fishing has been great. Striped fishing has been really good lately with nice size fish being caught on the main lake from 40 to 70 feet deep. Alewife herring is getting harder to catch but the reward is worth the effort.

Crappie fishing has been pretty good at night fishing under lights. And catfish have been caught almost any way you fish. There seems to be a boom of them in the lake this year.

    God bless
