The WeissLake Improvement Association and Weiss Lake Anglers, will be stocking FloridaStrain Largemouth on October 24th.
Crappiefishing is Good and most fish are on the main Coosa River channel ledges andthe ledges in Little River, in 12-16 feet of water on cover, and they can becaught spider rigging with live minnows, fished 2-4 feet above the bottom. Somefish are being caught under docks in the main lake, shooting jigs, a 1/24 ounceJiffy Jig in colors JJ13 and JJ17 is working great.
Striperfishing is Poor and there have been no reports of any catches in the last fewweeks. Look for the Stripers to turn on again in late November or earlyDecember.
