  • Richland Chambers Fishing Report - TX

The Fall fishing on Richland Chambers continues to be VERY GOOD with the Catfish on a tear and the White Bass continuing to provide lots of action! While you can never 100% depend on limits of Catfish, it's almost a guarantee as the Blues and Channel Cats are thick in the heavy timber up the Richland Arm of the Lake. The bite is non-stop from daylight until around 9AM and then it slows a bit. On several trips last week, we fished for Catfish for the first two hours of the morning and then made our move to the Main Lake and caught White Bass and Hybrids. The Catfish can be caught in water depths ranging from 12' to 20' on shad, punch bait, shrimp or just about any bait you choose. We prefer Danny Kings Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook. The White Bass can be found on many of the Main Lake Points in depths of 20' or more. Silver or Chartruese RSR Slabs is our bait of choice . Slow down your retrieve or lift as the water temp cools. The fish become less and less aggressive in the late Fall and Winter but you can also catch the largest fish of the year.

Each day I am on the Lake reminds me why FALL IS MY FAVORITE SEASON OF THE YEAR! It just doesn't get any better than this! Adam and I have Weekday openings and we still have one boat open during the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend. We fish year around and everyday except Sunday.
