Adam and I are proud of the fact that we have built our Guide Service Business by focusing on a specific target audience and that is FAMILIES. While we fish with anyone and everyone who wants to catch White Bass, Hybrids and Catfish, we especially like to have Kiddos and their Dads, Moms, Grandparents or anyone willing to TAKE A KID FISHING on board! This year during the Christmas/New Year Holidays, the weather cooperated enough for us to have several trips with Families and good news is that we had AWESOME CATCHES ON ALL OF THEM! We conducted just one outing for White Bass and Hybrids and caught lots of fish off Pelican Island and the Dogleg areas. All our other trips were for Catfish and the majority of the Blue and Channel Cats were caught in the heavy timber way up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake.

My most memorable trip of the Holidays was with the Jamie Wyatt Family from Midlothian. (See Pics) Jamie and his three Sons....12 yr. Old Jackson and Twin 9 yr. Olds Luke and Tanner took their first trip with Gone Fishin' and we had a ball! We had a delayed start due to a quick moving Storm that contained a little rain and a lot of wind early morning. We left Fisherman's Point Marina around 9:30AM, made the boat ride to the Catfish Hole, and by 10AM had our first of many Catfish in the Ice Chest. All the boys were very good fishermen and we caught fish till we filled the Chest and a 5 Gallon Bucket with quality 1lb. to 5lb. Cats. There was a lot of hollering and yelling going on all morning as the bite was non-stop and the net was used several times on the larger fish. This was the kind of trip I really enjoyed as the Kids were having fun and catching fish, Dad was enjoying watching and helping them, and I was extremely busy baiting hooks and taking fish off! We made some memories that day!

If any of the above sounds like fun, give us a call and we'll get your Family on the water for a DAY OF MAKING MEMORIES!
