Today I got out with a gentleman that wanted to see if we could put together a few patterns to make his trip to the "Big-G" worth his while. We didn't stay in any area very long because of just looking around a lot. We caught several fish, especially smaller ones, on Rat-L-Traps and Echos around grass lines in 6-8 ft. of water. There is still a tremendous amount of floating eel grass that's making fishing a lot of areas just down right "TOUGH", but just staying on the trolling motor enough you can sometimes come up on areas that you can actually make a cast without fouling your lure. Calm conditions along with no current, and the floating eel grass made for a tough day, but we had a blast catching the ones we did. Have fun, Mike Carter
