  • Richland Chambers Fishing Report - TX

Here's what you can expect when you fish at Richland Chambers Lake in:

SPRING....Almost every specie of fish (White Bass, Hybrid Striper, Catfish & Crappie) can be caught in the March thru June timeframe. It's the absolute easiest time of the year to catch the Whites/Hybrids on Slabs and Swim Baits on the Main Lake Flats and Points. Our Go To Bait is a Silver RSR Glitter Slab. ( www.rsrlures.com )

SUMMER....Check out the Main Lake areas for White Bass Top Water action in the early AM and then move to deeper water Humps and Roadbeds for Slab action. Hybrid Stripers will often have a HOT Summer Pattern on the Drop-Offs and Humps on the 309 Flats.

FALL....Early Fall action can be awesome for the White Bass in the Pelican Island and Hwy 287 Roadbed areas. Crappie can be caught on the Hwy 287 & Hwy 2859 Bridge Columns. Catfish will make their move to the Timber areas up the Richland Creek.

WINTER....If it's Catfish you're after, the Winter action on RC is AS GOOD AS IT GETS! The Timber in the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake in the 15'-25' depths will hold literally thousands of Blues and Channels. Danny Kings Blood Punch Bait on a #4 Treble Hook is the key to success!

    Good Luck and Good Fishin'!
