LAKE SEMINOLE IS FULL, CLEAR & 60’S

Bass fishing is fair. There is not a good pattern yet. Try lipless crankbaits but the fish are super shallow in 3 feet or less. Fish a Spro Aruku Shad Jr. in red crawfish color and rip it from the grass. To get the bait super shallow use a heavy line such as a 20 pound Sunline FC Sniper. This bait comes with Gamakatsu Trebles, so there is no need to change the hooks. Another good bait for this same pattern is to fish a square lip crankbait such as a Stanford Lures Patriot 1.5 in summer color. Use the same line setup as the lipless crankbait for this pattern. Another good pattern that is going to work is flipping hyacinths or grass near spawning areas. The Lowrance Structure Scan and Down Scan technology will work very well even in 10 feet of water. Anglers can cover 68 feet of bottom at 10 feet deep with the 455 frequency beam. When flipping, there is only one bait to use and that is a Big Bite Baits Fighting Frog in Hematoma. Team this up with a flipping rod, Sunline FX2 Braid, and a 1 1/2 ounce Tungsten weight.
