Itís the first of March and the fish are beginning to migrate! I have been catching fish several ways right now. Of course the A Rig will catch some fish. Iím fishing ZOOMs Super swimming fluke or a ZOOM swimmer on an Pro Line Lures, Swim bait 1/8 swim bait head. Iím fishing the A rig on the main lake and mouth of creeks.

Iím also fishing Lucky Crafts Square bills in the creeks focusing on points and channel banks. My best spring colors are Golden craw and copper craw in the Fat CBBDS3, the LC1.5 in Delta Craw then I will have a KJ Flat 1.5 in Disco and copper green craw tied on. I am fishing these crank baits on 15lb test Seaguar fluorocarbon on a 7 foot lews rod and reel.

Then I keep a jig tied on, a Pro Line Lures 3/8 or Ĺ ounce black and blue with a ZOOM Super chunk. I will use the jig when the bite slows down or even when the sun gets high. I can cast the jig right on the shoreline and work it back slowly. I know during mid day the water is at its warmest and the fish will get on the bank. I can keep the jig in that strike zone longer. Allowing me to get a few more big bites

I have some Days open this March and April give me a call or text at 731-227-9499
