  • Indian River Fishing Report - FL

March windscontinue as usual along the Treasure Coast. Winter also has made a visitto our area to cool things down a bit, but it's better than the blizzardconditions up north. It has been a mild winter in spite of the recentcold spell. Expect more windy days ahead and use them to your advantagewhen fishing. Plan your trips carefully and enjoy the fishing action!

We have had anotherexciting week with lots of fish being caught and a good variety ofspecies. Scott and Jason found mackerel, sheepshead, pompano and snookamong the many fish they caught on a beautiful morning on the TreasureCoast. The macks have been good size so far this month. Marshallbrought Jane, Nile and Tate out for an adventure and found the same good biteas well. The kids and dad caught sheepshead, snapper and mackerel alongwith a nice keeper triggerfish to top off the morning. Don and Art wereback for their monthly fishing trip. They caught drum, mackerel, sheepshead, snapper and lots of jacks to keep their rods bending allmorning. Will and Jean are back for some fishing adventures again thisyear. So far they have caught snook, mackerel, drum, sheepshead and croakers toname a few of the many fish they have caught so far this trip. It hasbeen a fun week on the water!

Fishing continuesto be good and providing lots of action for everyone! Snook fishing hasbeen great around the jetties and the big mackerel have arrived. Theusual winter fish like sheepshead and drum continue to bite aroundstructure. Winter can always give you challenges with the windy weather, but the fishing is always good if you use the winds to your advantage. Have fun and enjoy the fishing!

Remember, fishingis not just another hobby....it's an ADVENTURE!

    Thanks and GoodFishing!
