  • I fish out of spacious 23 foot boat, which is now fully enclosed and heated for fowl weather. It is also equipped with modern electronics. I have dedicated my life to following the powerful striped bass. I will do everything in my power to help you have a memorable and successful fishing adventure.I have over 15 years, fishing experience on Lake Cumberland so, I know where the BIG ones are!!!

  • Lake Cumberland Fishing Report for April 11 th 2017.

The water temp is in the upper 50's and clear in most places on the lower end of the lake. Spring is in the air and most fish are biting pretty good.

Great numbers of bass have been caught lately with some of them already starting to bed.

Good numbers of crappie have also been reported up major creeks fishing 5 to 15 ft deep close to cover.

Striper fishing has slowly improved most days. The real windy days I have had to bottom fish with fair numbers of stripers but good numbers of quality smallmouth. The calmer days I have been pulling planers from surface to 30 ft deep. We are gradually working our way to the main lake. Spotty reports of night fishing is starting on the main lake also.

The river unfortunately has been sub par so far. The generation schedule is not good with them turning off the water every night. As a fisherman we can easily find excuses why fishing is not good. lol This is the first spring in a long time that I have not done super good on big trout in the boils.

    God Bless
