Bass fishing is Good and a lot fish are shallow and starting on a prespawn pattern, these agressive fish fish can be caught on a variety of lures, right now. Shallow running crank baits, spinner baits and jigs are working well.

Crappie fishing is Great and they are migrating into the mouths and deeper areas of spawning coves and creeks, and they can be caught, Long line trolling with Jiffy Jigs in 1/24th and 1/16 ounce in colors JJ08,JJ13, JJ17, JJ20, JJ24, JJ25, and Marks blue and Sexy Bug www.jiffyjigs.com.

Striper fishing is Poor and no reports of any being caught the last few weeks, they are up in the head waters of the Coosa River, near Rome Ga. on their spring spawning run.

Catfish are biting good in the flats on cut bait.
