    Bass fishing is Fair and most fish are shallow and spawning, Look for the fishing to get better as they come off the beds. Shallow running crank baits, spinner baits and jigs are working well.

    Crappie fishing is Poor and most have spawned and started moving back to deeper cover, and they can be caught, Long line trolling with Jiffy Jigs in 1/24th ounce in colors JJ08,JJ13, JJ17, JJ20, JJ24, JJ25, and Marks blue and Sexy Bug www.jiffyjigs.com.They can also be caught Spider rigging with minnows

    Striper fishing is Poor and no reports of any being caught the last few weeks, they are up in the head waters of the Coosa River, near Rome Ga. on their spring spawning run.
