LAKE RUSSELL IS FULL, CLEAR, 70’s

Bass fishing is good. Use the Texas or Carolina rigged worms or lizard in pumpkinseed or watermelon green. Use a large spinner bait or bright crank bait on these ledges and slow roll the spinner baits. Back in the creeks and find the warmest water and the bass can be right on the banks. Use a large set of willow leaf blades in the bright colors as well as a fire tiger blade. Make several cast to the same location and work the bait slowly giving the bass a chance to locate the lure. Add a bright trailer and make sure skirts are very bright. Look in the creeks with the Lowrance Structure Scan technology and scan the banks and shallows before making a cast. This technology can see the fish all the way into the shallows.
