  • I fish out of spacious 23 foot boat, which is now fully enclosed and heated for fowl weather. It is also equipped with modern electronics. I have dedicated my life to following the powerful striped bass. I will do everything in my power to help you have a memorable and successful fishing adventure.I have over 15 years, fishing experience on Lake Cumberland so, I know where the BIG ones are!!!

  • Lake Cumberland fishing report for June 1, 2017

The water temp is in mid 70's and the water level is still high due to recent rains. The summer boating season is under way and also summer fishing patterns are right around the corner.

Striper fishing has been improving with good numbers of fish being caught most days. We have been fishing main lake hollows and the mouths of them 15 to 40 feet. The open water bite should be right around the corner. I think lowering the lake 5 to 8 ft will greatly improve fishing.

Good numbers of crappie have been caught at night fishing u see the lights. Bass fishing has been fair also with normal summer fishing patterns. The one fish that has surprised me is the lack of catfish. The last couple of years we have caught several catfish fishing for stripers. This year it has been back to normal not the surplus of the last two years.

    God bless
