I got out yesterday afternoon with a great friend that wanted to "pour some sweat" for the evening, and hopefully catch a few fish on the "Big G". We did just that with us starting out on some deep grass areas using Choo Choo Rocker jigs with Producer Craw trailers and the fish were aggressive even though we struggled with our aggressiveness from the extreme hot temps. The action was great and even with the fish still hitting we left to get on some "Bull Wake Shad" action! We pulled up to some scattered grass and within a few casts John missed one that got his blood pumping, and within a few more the next one didn't miss, it exploded and connected. A very HOT evening with some surprising great fishing. It goes to show the "Big G" can show you what it can do even with conditions that would make you think otherwise. Have fun, Mike Carter
