The Bull Wake Shad and it's partner in crime the Bull Rat were doing there job this morning. We stayed around scattered grass areas in 6-8 ft. and kept the baits just under the surface to make them wake. I also found that the Bull Rat can be worked like a spook and with it's long tail the fish just can't stand that kind of action. We fished several areas with a jig but that bite was not doing what it was advertised to do so we went back to the Bull Wake Shad again. With the sun up and the temps getting hot we had an extreme "explosion" on the Bull Wake that raised the hair on both of us, well what little hair we have. This goes to show that this bait can give you a "hair raising" experience even during the hottest part of the day. Have some fun! Mike Carter
