Late summer fishing is slowing as it always does and finding fish has been tougher this past week; I did manage one great day but for the most part fishing has gotten tougher. Finding different patterns will not be easy but it’s a must if you’re going to do well until the fish hit the fall run of feeding up for the winter.
What did well for us was spotty at best but the big worm bite worked along with SPRO Baby Little John crank baits, Picasso Shock Blade chatter baits and still doing well on active top water days with a SPRO frog. The fish have not moved in depth much still in that 8 to 12 ft. but they have changed locations as they generally do in the late summer. You can see them holding deep also but those fish to me just will not bite so it’s the shallower fish that are biting, but you have to work at it.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. I have days and guides available to fish with you; looking for a great way to entertain your customers, group trips and your customers are what we enjoy. Let’s going fishing we fish with great sponsor baits, Vicious Line, Duckett rods and reels, Ranger Boats T&H marine products and more.
