With the big cooling trend and the water temperature dropping, look for the bass to start moving shallow on the fall feeding pattern.

Look for the crappie to start bunching up on cover on the main river channel ledges.

Bass fishing is good. Our fish have moved shallow, to culverts and ditches where fresh rain water is running into the lake, shallow running crank baits, spinner baits and jigs are catching fish.

Crappie fishing is good. Fish are biting on deeper cover and creek and river channel ledges, in 10 to 16 feet of water. They can be caught Spider rigging with live minnows 10 to 12 feet deep over structure.
