WEISS LAKE IS AT 1 FEET 3 INCHES BELOW FULL POOL AND CLEAR AND 78-79 DEGREE'S

Look for the Crappie to start bunching up on cover on the main river channel ledges.
Bass fishing is Good and a lot of fish have moved shallow, to culverts and ditches where fresh rain water is running into the lake, shallow running crank baits, Spinner baits and jigs are catching fish.

Crappie fishing is Fair and they are biting good on deeper cover and creek and river channel ledges, in 10-16 feet of water. They can be caught Spider rigging with live minnows 10-12 feet deep, over structure. they are also being caught shooting docks with jigs.

Striper fishing is poor and a few are being caught at the Cave Hole and Little Spring Creek, they can be caught on live shad down lined and flat lined.
Catfish are biting good in the flats on cut bait.
