LAKE GEORGE IS DOWN .41 FEET, 70íS

Bass fishing is tough. The grass bite has been slow. Shallow grass early along with Shallow River ledges during the day helped put this nice bag of fish together. The bite has been day to day, with most of those days anglers are running all over the lake struggling for a bite. Some top water action early but it's about as reliable as the ledge bite. The crank bait bite has been nonexistent for ten days and with all the bait running around anglers can't figure what to use. Working Texas rigs in shallow cover ranging from 5 to 10 feet of water is the only sure thing. In any cover, dead stick the worm in the tree for a minute or so or they won't touch it.
