Lake Cumberland fishing report for oct-4,2017. The fall patterns are starting to appear. The large volume of generation in august has pulled the deep cold oxygenated water out of the lake and the stripers are up shallower now. The best oxygen is from surface to 50 ft. We have been pulling planers on the main lake from 20 to 50 ft deep.

The bass are are also shallow feeding on the surface early and late. The absence of catfish all year is no longer lol. We are catching several nice channel catfish each day fishing for stripers.
