CLARKS HILL IS DOWN 8.5 FEET, HIGH 60íS

Bass fishing is good. The weather will slow the fishing until mid week. Find the shad and this is when the Lowrance Structure Scan Side imaging technology can play a major role in successful fishing or not. Baitfish move into the creeks and bass follow them. The water temperatures are once again slowly dropping. An occasional top water bite with an occasional crank bait bite along the rip rap hasn't changed. Drop shot rigs and Carolina rigs are accounting for most of the Bass being caught. The late evening bite will be the best one to try for about the next week or so, until the moon phase changes again. Experiment with several techniques and baits during your day of fishing. Tubes, jigs, jerk baitís and spot stickers re good ones to try throughout the day.

    Crank Bait Cadence

As we approach some post spawn fishing there is probably no bait more fun to fish than a crank bait; key though is making the bait attractable to the fish and that may take some thought. I know many of us throw the crank bait out and reel it back; thereís more to it than that... read more
